The reason that we created a second billboard was because there was a continuity error of the picture of Kate Trollope (Chandelier) as in the 1st picture used in the billboard she is holding the jumper on the outside of her t-shirt, where as the picture used in the 2nd design, she is using the jumper under her t-shirt as a baby bump, her facial expressions are better and go well with the caption too.

We found this Hollyoaks billboard as INSPIRATION for our own billboard ideas as it is so effective as it has ued dark colour for the background contrasting the colours used for the characters to highlight the drama happening within the soap storyline.
The channel 4 logo shows the brand identity as ours shows the E4 brand identity.
The slogan interests the viewers into watching the week of soap as they know something big is going to happen.
The fact that the characters shown from the soap are shown in flames possibly literal or so to speak, shows that the week will include fire and that those characters will be involved.

The 2nd billboard design shows the 'love triangle' between Chandelier, Mickey and Rhino. The billboard is effective as it shows off the main storyline from the soap trailer and icludes a quote from my trailer saying "who's the daddy?" linking the billboard to my trailer and also to the front cover of our magazine.
It also shows that Mickey wears makeup too, which shows another storyline.
Overall the billboard shows alot about the soap as it shows eye contact and conflict between the two male characters.
The dark background shows the darkness and negativity between the 3 characters, however I don't feel that this billboard looks as professional as the 1st design due to the block colour background on the 2nd design as it makes it makes the photoshop obvious.
