We brainstormed different names of TV magazines to see which one we thought would fit our soap best. 'TV Buzz' was our favourite one out of them all so we included this in our planned drawing. We are using the conventions of the "TV easy" magazine as we feel that this fits the parody look better as it uses bright colours etc, doesn't look too serious.
We plan to show the love triangle from our soap "Ivy Wood" using Rhino, Chandelier and Micky, we plan to use an image of them at within the centre of our magazine cover to draw the reader in. We plan to use other images to create other soaps within the magazine to make it look like an official magazine cover.
After looking at the layout and the colour use of TV easy, this is our flat plan of the cover of the magazine that we want to create "TV Buzz"
Matt Beckwith drew up a draft of what our magazine cover would look like.
